We're looking for a talented and highly motivated Cloud Security Engineer / Dev SecOps Engineer to join our team.

As part of the Papaya Information Security team you will take part in a wide variety of areas including:

• Assess security risks and vulnerabilities in the existing architecture and work closely with the Infra group to prioritize and remediate the risk.  
• Leverage and enhance existing security tools, identifying gaps and recommending new solutions. 
• Implement security tooling in our CI/CD pipeline.  
• Identify security tools and lead the implementation from POC to Production 
• Monitor and triage security events.  
• Assist in investigating security related incidents. 
• Act as a focal point for cloud security related queries and strategies. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with DevOps methodologies and technologies including a deep understanding of cloud security best practices and main challenges. 
• Experience in at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP (AWS is preferred). 
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and microservices. 
• Experience with market-leading security tools (DDos, WAF, SAST, DAST, IDS/IPS, CSPM, DSPM, K8s security etc) 
• Strong Scripting & development skills  
• Experience with IaC technologies, preferably AWS and TF. 
• Experience in triaging security alerts and executing incident response. 
• Experience working at a high-growth startup or tech company.  
• Passionate about security and well-informed on information, security principles and practices, cybersecurity trends, news, and best practices.
