Information Security Compliance Lead

About you
The Information Security Compliance Lead drives our internal Information security compliance initiatives, ensuring that our internal systems, policies, and processes adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will spearhead efforts to enhance our information security posture, mitigate risks, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and compliance across the organization.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• A minimum of 5 years experience defining and shaping internal compliance programs.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple security control and risk frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, etc.).
• Proven track record in managing internal compliance initiatives, mentoring teams, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• A passion for promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to learning about emerging trends in cybersecurity, data protection, and risk management.
• Self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Internal Risk & Compliance Management.
• Conduct comprehensive gap analyses of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring alignment with standards such as ISO27001, and SOC2.
• Strategic Leadership & Program Development.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Training.
• Audit & Remediation.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration.
