Your Role
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting Skeepers' IT infrastructure, implementing robust security measures, detecting vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents. You will work within the Security team in the R&D department, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to strengthen our security posture.
Key Responsibilities
Security Strategy & Implementation
· Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
· Configure and monitor security tools, including proxies, EDR, MDM, and bug bounty programs.
· Deploy and oversee new security solutions (SAST/DAST, SIEM, etc.) to enhance threat detection and mitigation.
· Contribute to the deployment of CIAM/IAM solutions across Skeepers’ platforms (Keycloak).
Risk & Vulnerability Management
· Identify vulnerabilities in our platforms and IT infrastructure, propose mitigation strategies, and track remediation efforts.
· Manage regular security audits and penetration testing to ensure compliance with security best practices.
· Conduct risk assessments to identify security gaps and recommend improvements.
Monitoring & Incident Response
· Continuously monitor systems and networks to detect suspicious activities.
· Analyze security logs and reports to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
· Respond rapidly to security incidents, ensuring containment, mitigation, and resolution.
· Conduct post-incident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
Security Awareness & Collaboration
· Educate and train employees on security best practices and threat awareness.
· Work closely with internal teams to promote a strong security culture.
· Advocate for and implement security best practices across departments.
Technology Watch & External Collaboration
· Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
· Recommend system upgrades and security enhancements based on industry developments.
· Participate in client security assessments and RFP responses, ensuring transparency on Skeepers' security practices.
Requirements
Your Profile
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in network security, vulnerability management, and risk analysis.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, EDR, SIEM, SAST/DAST.
- Familiarity with security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, GCP) is a plus.

- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative.
- Excellent organization and priority management skills.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
