We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to work out of one of these locations: Corporate Office in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Parsippany, NJ, or Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

As a Cloud Security Engineer on our Technology Services Team, you will manage, maintain and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the security of our organization's cloud infrastructure

 

Responsibilities:

  • Configuring and integrating cloud security controls within M365 and Azure, i.e. Entra ID, Defender for Cloud and Servers, Conditional Access, Security Center, Key Vaults, Privileged Identity Management, Azure MFA, etc.
  • Implementing security processes and controls to increase business security posture and meet various audit requirements.
  • Managing Privileged Access Management solution to protect and restrict unauthorized access to critical resources.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Purview for compliance and risk management.
  • Key contributor of M365 Cloud Security initiatives and tracking/reporting status of projects.
  • Intune management, deployment, and configuration of policies to protect company workstations and mobile devices, as well as deploy software and secure access to company resources and data.
  • Working with SIEM and SOC team to ensure data feeds from all critical areas are being received for proper analysis.
  • Continuously monitor threat and vulnerability sources for potential risks to the overall safe operation of the organization.
  • Support the incident response team providing troubleshooting, analysis, and forensics for issues that require deeper attention than the SOC can provide.
  • Interfacing with other teams throughout the organization to provide increased security to existing or new cloud initiatives.
  • Research new Cloud service/application offerings, obtains price quotes, and creates comparative assessment reports for evaluating potential new solutions.
  • Preparing and documenting standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft 365 platform tools and services including PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Experience with Azure security, i.e. RBAC, management groups, Information Protection.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills relating to resolving systems issues and investigating security related issues or events.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, experience with cloud SSO integrations and SIEM platforms, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect our organization's cloud assets.
  • Capability to provide after-hours support to identify and resolve issues relating to accessing corporate IT-managed resources
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Maximize knowledge transfer through the production of easy to understand documentation.
  • Delivery focused with a capacity to drive tasks forward to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
