We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team and work closely with our Global Director of Security in Embla Medical (one of the Demant family companies), an international company whose mission is to improve people’s mobility.

As a Security Specialist, you will get opportunity to assist in the implementation and management of our information security program. Also you will be involved in our security operations, providing administrative and operational support to ensure our cybersecurity measures remain robust and effective. You’ll coordinate security projects, manage documentation, support risk assessments, and facilitate security awareness training—all while staying on top of the latest trends and best practices in cybersecurity.

What tasks are waiting for you?

  • Coordinate and track the progress of security projects and initiatives
  • Maintain and organize documentation related to information security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Support in conducting risk assessments and internal maturity assessments
  • Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training programs
  • Monitor and report on security incidents and vulnerabilities
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration on security matters
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Have previous experience in a similar role within IT or cybersecurity, demonstrating strong organizational skills
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and can handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about staying updated with cybersecurity trends and best practices

 

Nice to have:

  • Hold certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM,
  • Experience in project management and coordination
