In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats using tools like Tenable Identity Exposure, Splunk, and other security solutions.
- Operate and maintain Web Application Firewalls (e.g., F5) and other network security tools.
- Conduct vulnerability management and implement security patches.
- Ensure the security of Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Windows Server 20xx, Active Directory).
- Manage and support dual-factor authentication systems (tokens, RADIUS servers).
- Oversee the security configuration of TCP/IP networking and services (NTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP).
- Provide security guidance for infrastructure, servers, and applications.
- Investigate security incidents and implement countermeasures to mitigate risks.
- Perform forensic analysis and recommend security improvements.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into daily operations.
- Participate in security-related projects, implementing new tools, policies, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve security posture and compliance.
- Assist in security audits and compliance assessments.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- 3+ years of experience in IT security operations, network security, or system security.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Windows 10, Windows Server, Active Directory).
- Experience with Web Application Firewalls (F5) and network security tools.
- Proficiency in security monitoring and attack detection (Tenable Identity Exposure, Splunk).
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring, server security, and authentication systems.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and core services (NTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP).
