Join our team in support of our Navy customer on our Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Ashore Sustainment Program. This position is 100% remote but must be worked from the Eastern or Central time zone. 

 

The Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Ashore Sustainment Program is executed by the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) N3S AT/FP Ashore Program Management Office (PMO), NAVFAC Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC), and CNIC Regional Program Managers (RPMs). The primary goal of the CNIC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain AT/FP Ashore Program systems in accordance with their operational requirements. This position is remote and may be based out of any location within the Continental United States (CONUS). 

 

As an AT/FP GSC Lead Information Systems Security Engineer, you will support the CNIC N3S Public Safety Systems Ashore Programs and their mission is to design, procure, integrate, install, and sustain the systems/equipment hardware, associated firmware, and software required to provide the ability to protect mission-critical assets and personnel from natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other human-caused disasters.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and direct the daily work of others, managing teams of Information Technology professionals such as cybersecurity technicians and systems administrators.  Management of both administrative and technical teams.
  • Review, analyze, and process complex data sets comprised of ACAS and SCAP scans, STIGs, FISMA requirements, and NIST 800 series Assessment Procedure (AP) controls. 
  • Provide recommendations and guidance for information assurance and cybersecurity vulnerability remediation, asset management, technical systems updates, and configuration/change management for C4I systems worldwide. 
  • Provide cybersecurity guidance and mentoring to team members on multiple CNIC AT/FP systems including patch management/testing, STIG implementation and mitigation, information assurance/security, anti-virus, and data backup solutions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • An active DoD Secret clearance
  • An active CompTIA Security+ or higher DoD 8570 IAM Level I complaint certification
  • A highschool diploma/GED
  • 8+ years of experience Cybersecurity or related field
  • Strong understanding of DoD Risk Management Framework Assess and Authorize processes, procedures, and requirements
  • Effective leadership skills with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with government customers as well as other contract/program teams to plan and accomplish contract deliverables/goals
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and develop/maintain cohesive team environment. Strong team and relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel to worksites up to 25% of the time as needed

Additional desired experience/skills:

  • CISSP certification
