Core Responsibilities
Lead and develop the security team covering Vietnam and APAC, securing the team is motivated and continuously develop the necessary skills and capabilities in the team to effectively manage security operations in the region.
Manage security operations in accordance with defined standards, budgets and performance KPI’s. This also includes preparation for and support to internal and external audits and ensuring compliance to relevant security standards and external certifications.
Ensure ongoing risk assessments and business impact analysis are maintained for all sites in the region in accordance with defined tools and standards, evaluating and defining appropriate measures to mitigate identified risks to protect LEGO® assets, property and people.
Ensure new and existing security infrastructure is operating and maintained in accordance with global LEGO® Security standards. This also implies ongoing review and input to global standards and addressing gaps identified during internal, external audits
Ensure effective execution of security related projects, workstreams and installations (new or upgrade of existing installations) within the region and in accordance with the LEGO® Project Model, coordinating efforts and managing relations with internal and external stakeholders
Oversee and direct investigations of theft and Confidentiality of LEGO® assets within the region ensuring collaboration with global investigation lead (SEC), internal stakeholders in legal, HR and Site management/General Managers and with external authorities and documentation and reporting of efforts and results into NAVEX
Responsible for Crisis Management in the region, ensuring local site emergency management teams and contingency plans are in place and compliant to the LEGO Group Crisis & Incident Management standard, securing regular training of members of the local crisis organization
Responsible for mobilization of the Crisis Management Organization in accordance with the defined escalation path in the event of incidents & emergencies, ensuring appropriate communication to and between stakeholders in the event of a crisis or emergency in the region.
Support on ad-hoc requests and tasks for security services in the region including but not limited to Executive & Event protection, criminal and fraud investigation and security risk assessments for existing/new locations and projects within the region.

The Global Security Organization looks after people and assets in the LEGO Group. The primary role is to ensure business continuity by protecting the company and employees from critical security incidents, ensuring efficient responses to incidents and preventing physical leaks and thefts of intellectual property and critical assets. This includes safety aspects of various events and travel security.
As Head of Security for Vietnam and APAC you lead a team of security professionals in managing security operations across the LEGO Group’s facilities with the main focus on the manufacturing site in Binh Duong, Vietnam, the Regional Hub in Singapore and offices in Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Australia and other offices in the region.
Your team will be based in Binh Duong, Vietnam (6 positions) and Singapore (1 position), reporting directly to you.
You are part of the Global Security leadership team, where you are expected to contribute to set the long term strategic direction for Global Security in the LEGO Group and for defining and driving best practices in collaboration with other regions and with the Security Excellence Center.
Do you have what it takes?
Degree or equivalent relevant academic background (risk management, corporate security, legal, manufacturing, engineering or IT) is preferred.
10 Years + experience from a corporate security function with hands-on experience managing / directing people, preferably involving manufacturing sites, with at least 5 years in management position, leading a globally distributed team.
Great communication in English
Experience with Access Control and CCTV systems (preferably Genetec).
Experience with Emergency, Crisis Management and Business Continuity
Knowledge on Supply Chain Security best practices and certifications (i.e. ISO 28000, AEO, TAPA). Financial Acumen for both OPEX and CAPEX.
Experience managing outsourcing contracts (Contract Management), construction projects and criminal and/or fraud investigations is a plus.
