Application Expert - Cloud Network Security & Proxy (HYBRID IN PRAGUE)

We are looking for an Application Expert - Cloud Network Security & Proxy for our client on a hybrid basis. Future candidate will be responsible for the resolution of incident tickets and successful implementation of changes. Enhance network security services adhering to operational standards and improve customer satisfaction through effective support and query resolution.
Details:* Start: January 2025* End Date: Full-time for the entirety of 2025* Work Type: Hybrid (Onsite 1x per week in Prague, Chodov)* Work Schedule: Full-time* Languages: Fluent in English and Czech (spoken and written)* Technology: Fortinet Firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, DNS, Azure, Google Cloud (Advanced)* Skill Area: Network Security and Telecommunications* Task Focus: Providing 2nd-level support for network security services in the cloud, incident resolution, and implementing infrastructure changes.
Requirements:* Minimum 2 years of experience in Telecommunications/Network or Network Security.* Expertise in Firewalls, TCP/IP, IPSec VPN, HTTP(S), DNS, etc.* Experience with public cloud networking principles (Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud) or Cloud Proxy.* Strong knowledge of at least one Network Security technology: Fortinet Firewalls, F5 BIG-IP, IPSec VPN, or Web Proxy.* Ability to work independently and handle tasks under time and workload pressure.* Excellent English communication skills.
Nice to Have:* Experience with scripting and automation.* Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as Terraform.* Familiarity with automation practices.
Responsibilities:* Provide 2nd-level support for cloud-deployed network security services, including firewalls, web proxies, load balancing, and DNS.* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems, liaising with external vendors to maintain service levels.* Ensure all infrastructure changes follow the change management process, with appropriate documentation.* Implement and maintain solutions in line with agreed standards.* Handle customer queries via phone or email and deliver additional requests from supervisors.
