About the Role:

The French-Speaking Sales Engineer will play a critical role in supporting Pentera’s Enterprise Sales Representatives. This Sales Engineer is a key role as you are dealing directly with Pentera's prospects, presenting new insights and introducing our technology. As a Sales Engineer at Pentera, you will be facing challenging assignments that address some of the most advanced and technological aspects of the Cyber Security world and Pentesting, in particular.

This is a unique opportunity to gain unprecedented experience in the Pentesting world as you will be exposed to the heart of security teams from different countries and industries.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding and professional knowledge in cyber technologies across our customers’ networks.
  • Lead Customer Engagements: Conduct introduction meetings and in-depth technical sessions to educate customers on product capabilities and drive service expansion opportunities.
  • Sales Support and Strategy: Collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize sales approaches, identify leads, convert them into opportunities, and execute a winning plan.
  • Technical Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations for prospects and customers, both in person and virtually, showcasing how Pentera’s solutions deliver value from both technical and business perspectives.
  • Partner Collaboration: Engage with value-added partners to enhance customer experiences and expand service capabilities.
  • Customer Requirement Analysis: Meet with prospective customers to understand their needs, field technical inquiries, and demonstrate how our solutions align with their requirements.
  • Event and Conference Representation: Represent the company as a technical resource at trade shows, conferences, and customer visits as needed.
  • On-Site and Post-Sale Support: Ensure successful on-site product evaluations, installations, and post-sale support to maximize customer satisfaction and product adoption.
  • Education: BSc. in Engineering (Cybersecurity, Software, Industrial, or Electrical); MBA is an advantage.


Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or professional services role, preferably in a cybersecurity startup company supporting enterprise accounts.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Networking and Systems (Linux, Windows, Cloud, Docker infrastructure, Active Directory, troubleshooting).
  • Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, including OS (Windows, Linux), Networks, and Active Directory.
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts, cybersecurity methodologies, and Microsoft network protocols.
  • Certifications: CEH, CISSP, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the Penetration Testing field; practical experience is a major advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical material to small and large groups.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a knack for building warm customer relationships and energizing the PoV room.
  • Exceptional time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • Team player, self-sufficient, and highly motivated with a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Availability for frequent travel in the UK, France, and Benelux (up to 50%)
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) - a must.
  • A self-driven, high-performing leader and self-learner.
  • Team player, self-sufficient, and autodidact with a friendly attitude.


Preferred Skills

  • Practical experience in penetration testing or vulnerability scanning – a significant advantage.
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft network protocols.
