Cyber Security Engineer - PKI

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO​

• Experience with X.509 certificates, certificate authorities (CAs), and certificate lifecycle management: You'll manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of digital certificates, ensuring secure and efficient operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft ADCS (Active Directory Certificate Services) and other SaaS/Cloud-based PKI solutions: You'll implement and maintain PKI solutions, leveraging both on-premises and cloud-based technologies.
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL protocols, mutual authentication, and certificate revocation mechanisms (CRL, OCSP): You'll ensure secure communications and manage certificate revocation processes to maintain system integrity.
• Strong grasp of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including certificate-based authentication: You'll enhance security by integrating certificate-based authentication into IAM frameworks.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating certificate issuance, renewal, and validation: You'll develop and maintain scripts to automate certificate management tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
• Good understanding of integrating PKI with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and cloud security architectures: You'll work closely with DevOps teams to integrate PKI into development workflows, ensuring secure and compliant deployments.
• Understanding of PKI governance, compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR): You'll ensure that PKI practices adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance and governance.
• Understanding of key management policies and best practices (e.g., NIST, CIS benchmarks): You'll implement and enforce key management policies to safeguard cryptographic keys and ensure best practices are followed.

You’ll work with Cyber Security Controls team. Team’s motto is to engineer controls to enhance overall cyber security of our organization. Team works with multiple platforms, technologies and services.
