Junior Supplier Threat Intelligence Analyst, Assistant Vice President

State Street is seeking a junior supplier threat intelligence analyst to serve as a subject matter expert in a unique role that spans intelligence collection and analysis, incident response support, and alert monitoring and triage. This analyst will be a member of a newly created Supplier Intelligence team that leads the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) organization’s support to third party monitoring and event monitoring efforts. Team members will also serve as subject matter experts in unique tools and datasets, providing support services to CTI team members and requests for support from outside the CTI team.
What will you be responsible for:
- Monitoring best in class tooling for indications of cyber events at third party networks
- Analyzing available data to create actionable intelligence related to third party cyber events
- Leveraging a unique suite of CTI tools to identify likely malicious or otherwise risky activity impacting third party networks
- Leading CTI support to third party cyber incidents from discovery through closure
- Collecting and analyzing unique intelligence related to State Street’s extended attack surface at third party networks
- Serving as subject matter expert in network traffic and infrastructure analysis
- Delivering intelligence support to customers across technical and non-technical teams

- Working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
- Knowledge of IT architecture and operations concepts (computing, network, storage & cloud)
- Ability to work in an environment with a geographically dispersed team
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years working in related cybersecurity role with a high level of performance (e.g., SOC analyst, threat intelligence analyst, threat hunter, incident responder, etc.)
- BS in a Cyber Security related field such as Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred
- Related cybersecurity certifications a plus, but not required
- Software development and/or scripting experience a plus: Python, Powershell, etc.
