THE TEAM

The mission of the Cybersecurity Department is to deliver high‐quality cybersecurity services and solutions that minimize risk across Aritzia’s systems and data.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of the Cybersecurity department, you will be part of the team responsible for protecting Aritzia’s data across our systems and network. As the Senior Engineer, Cybersecurity, you will deploy and continuously improve cybersecurity technologies while ensuring they meet both business requirements and security standards. You will be responsible for the hands-on implementation, configuration, and maintenance of security controls across our enterprise security tools, and will support with defining Cybersecurity architecture, standards, and governance frameworks. You will also collaborate closely with Aritzia’s Technology teams to ensure integrations with Cybersecurity solutions where required. THE ROLE

As the Senior Engineer, Cybersecurity, you will:

• Evaluate and input on cybersecurity solutions to ensure they are built in the right way to meet business outcomes and security requirements
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to manage cybersecurity solutions, ensuring established service levels are maintained
• Design and develop Aritzia’s cybersecurity architecture, documenting flows, procedures, governance, and policies, ensuring that architectural designs and security tools align with Enterprise Technology best practices
• Deploy core cybersecurity technologies across Aritzia’s systems and platforms
• Support with risk mitigation strategies
• Support with guidance on the implementation of security patches and updates
• Support the Cybersecurity team with defining and managing identity & access controls and with mitigating threats and vulnerabilities using security controls and alerts

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Engineer, Cybersecurity has:

• Proven skills, certifications, education, and/or experience in:
  • Active Directory
  • Entra ID
  • Azure
  • Conditional Access Policy
  • Microsoft Defender for Identity, for Cloud, for Endpoint, Sentinel, Purview
  • Microsoft Cloud Security Posture Management
  • Cloudflare WAF
  • Technical scripting (Powershell, Python, Regex or other)
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
  • Windows and Linux system administration
  • Web application security knowledge
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CIS Controls
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Business and People Leadership principles

THE COMPENSATION  

The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
