Senior Information Security Analyst - Customer Trust - Toyko
Tokyo
We're on a mission to build the best platform in the world for engineers to understand and scale their systems, applications, and teams. We operate at high scale—trillions of data points per day—allowing for seamless collaboration and problem-solving among Dev, Ops and Security teams globally for tens of thousands of companies. Our engineering culture values pragmatism, honesty, and simplicity to solve hard problems the right way.
The Team
The Customer Trust (CT) team is the face of Datadog’s security and governance organization. Members of the CT team interact directly with our customers, and translate customer security and compliance requirements into the overall Datadog Information Security and Compliance program. This particular role will also liaise with ISMAP auditors and APAC regulatory bodies, showcasing how Datadog adheres to specific ISMAP controls, thereby reinforcing Datadog’s commitment to security and compliance in the APAC region.
This team is fast-paced and closely knit. We enable the Sales and Support organizations in the procurement phase and ongoing customer management program by responding to customer security questionnaires, evidence requests, as well as working closely with our customers’ and prospects’ security, GRC, and Legal teams from around the world, to champion Datadog’s security practices and procedures.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Security Analyst in this role, you will serve as a strong technical contact to quickly respond to customer security needs, provide qualified analysis on improving our security posture and capabilities, serve as a critical incident response stakeholder, help to ensure Datadog’s compliance with emerging regulations globally and represent Security in supporting the Sales team throughout the Sales process.
You will also be the primary liaison for Datadog during our ISMAP audit, acting as the main point of contact for auditors and regulatory bodies. Your responsibilities include explaining how Datadog meets ISMAP controls, obtaining and presenting compliance evidence, and negotiating alternatives for unmet controls.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
