Job Description

The main purpose of this job is senior technical expert responsibility for design and implementation of an assigned technology.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Gigabit Business Framework is a new way of serving our customers with completely re-designed processes to provide “Gigabit Connectivity”. We initiated a Digital Hub to foster new marketing and sales processes in order to win customers before rollout of the fiber infrastructure is carried out. This completely new business approach: allowing pre-sales activities, customer driven infrastructure rollout, real-time fulfillment in the case of connected homes and many more features are part of the product vision of so-called “Gigabit Business Framework (Gigabit Geschäftssystem)”. We work internationally with 49 teams on the customer journeys and release all our product increments immediately into production environment. Our agile mindset enables us to start with minimal viable products and improve them according to customers & internal feedback incrementally.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Plans and participates in the Elaboration of the Architectural Runway for a full the E2E Solution with the Solution and Domain/System Architects and System/TechOps 

• Establishes and supports definition of Non-functional Requirements and the Architecture Enablers for Security management to enable the Business Objectives in terms of T2M, Scalability and Business & Software Stability for Fiber Rollout

• Identify the Backlog Requirements for scrum Teams and shared Teams  related to Security Governance Processes

• Fosters Built-in Quality for the entire Security Solution

• Contribute to the Definition,  Design, Implementation, Rollout and the Governance of the Architecture Vision

• Leading, Communicating  and Driving actively the implementation of the Security Architecture related initiatives and EPICs in Alignment with different Stakeholders in the Program (Business Owners, SD; PM/PO, the Scrum Teams, STE/RTE, End Users; OPS)

• Defining and communicating  the Security Architecture Roadmap of Gigabit in alignment with the Enterprise Security Architecture Vision of DT (e.g. Zero Trust Architecture)

• Giving the development scrum teams a clear Description of the Security Architecture Requirements and communicating Best Practices on how to proceed

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE / ARE:

• Excellent expertise and several years of practical experience in network technologies, topology and security areas

• In-depth and hands-on technological knowledge and experience of security aspects of AWS - related knowledge in areas such as containers, microservices, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

• Profound understanding of network and IP protocols, including common transport protocols (HTTP(s), (m)tls GRPC, HTTP/2/3).

• Very good knowledge of analysis and consulting methods.

• Deep industry know-how in the field of deployed technologies, standards, legal frameworks, and innovation trends in the security market.

• Experience in handling security-related issues in the context of middleware solutions/RESTful APIs.

• Experience in security consulting and assessments of IT systems.

• You have a confident and professional demeanor, are reliable, and work independently, methodically, and creatively.
• You possess clear, situation-appropriate, and potentially de-escalating communication skills for complex matters to quickly establish a productive common ground in conversations.
• You know what to do in the event of a security incident and remain calm and focused.
• You have both the assertiveness to enforce security issues in the project context and the ability to find compromise for mutual solutions.
• Fluent to proficient English and eventually  German language skills in both written and spoken forms.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will vary and will not be lower than 2500 € /brutto.
