About The Team

This team is instrumental in developing Ivanti's purpose-built platform for CIOs and CISOs powered by Ivanti Neurons - a cloud-scale, hyperautomation layer that enables proactive healing, user-friendly security across the organization and provides an enhanced user experience. This department plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth trajectory through continuous innovation and customer-centric solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and execute comprehensive penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on Ivanti Products to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Analyze security scan results and create detailed reports outlining findings, exploitation procedures, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Challenge the security posture of products by simulating real-world attacks and exploiting vulnerabilities in various components.
- Provide technical expertise to the team, facilitate backlog reviews, validate security fixes, and guide security-focused feature development.
- Conduct architectural risk analysis, threat modeling, and secure code & design reviews to ensure robust product security.
- Stay updated on the latest vulnerabilities and threats to proactively assess their potential impact on products and solutions.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines by integrating security tools and planning for automated security testing as part of the development lifecycle.
- Foster collaboration within a geographically distributed team and ensure effective communication of security strategies and objectives.
To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have
- 5+ years of experience in Networking and Security, with a focus on penetration testing or ethical hacking.
- Proficient in security concepts, technologies (PKI, SSL/TLS, authentication methods, Encryption/Hashing, etc) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Hands-on experience with SAST & DAST security tools like Polaris, Blackduck, Metasploit, BurpSuite, Nessus, and others. Must have Strong understanding of Threat and attack landscape, latest security trends, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and how they are leveraged by malicious actors.
- Strong understanding of software vulnerabilities (OWASP top 10, CWE) and secure design practices.
- Knowledgeable in programming/scripting languages (C/C++, JavaScript, Python) and cloud security fundamentals.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and working with distributed teams with Excellent communication skills for technical reporting and collaboration.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field, with relevant security certifications (CISSP, OSCP, CEH).
