Solutions Architect (On-Site)

Job Description

The IT Solutions Architect is a subject matter expert responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with business objectives. This role collaborates with sales teams, engineering, and customers to develop tailored IT strategies that enhance operations, security, and efficiency. By leveraging deep technical expertise, the IT Solutions Architect ensures businesses receive scalable, innovative, and cost-effective solutions

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and design IT solutions that align with their business objectives
• Consult with business leaders and stakeholders to recommend scalable and cost-effective IT strategies
• Develop and present proposals for managed IT services, including infrastructure and cloud computing, cybersecurity and compliance solutions, backup and disaster recovery, VOIP, and Office 365 solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor by providing guidance on IT best practices and strategic planning
• Lead business review meetings with managed service clients to assess performance and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to bridge the gap between business challenges and technical solutions
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance solution offerings
• Utilize CRM tools to track opportunities, manage solution roadmaps, and drive successful implementation

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, consulting, or solution architecture
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical education
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, managed services, and cybersecurity
• Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable IT solutions
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience developing technical proposals, cost estimates, and project roadmaps
• Industry certifications preferred, including Microsoft Azure or M365, networking such as Cisco or CompTIA Network+, cybersecurity certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CMMC, or ITIL

Additional Information:

• Job Type: Full Time (M-F, Hybrid schedule after training period)
• Preferred Location: Reside within driving distance of our Lenexa, KS office
• Other Considered Locations: St. Louis, MO, Springfield, MO, or Tulsa, OK.
• Compensation: The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within a fair market range and ideally within the salary range below. Your actual base pay will depend on your geographic location, as well as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
