Job Description

Cybersecurity is an always-on field, so you’ll stay advised of all the latest trends and compliance regulations and always be ready to conduct threat analysis, risk management, and incident response quickly and effectively. To stay on the front foot, our cybersecurity experts will be familiar with the latest security tools, implementing firewalls, and conducting vulnerability assessments. Our cybersecurity colleagues will excel in ethical hacking and penetration testing, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments. This ensures that their assets meet security standards, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to safeguarding the systems. After all, there’s no cyber without cybersecurity.

As an IAM Analyst for the Security Office Squad, you will play a critical role by ensuring that the right individuals have appropriate access to technology resources while protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access. Your primary focus is on managing user identities, access controls, and authentication mechanisms within a large program where more than 100 services are in production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing User Roles

  • Support provisioning process of user account with predefined role-based access control policies
  • Ensure that newcomers receive the correct permissions based on their squad and job function
  • Support the build of automated workflow with HR systems
  • Enforce Least Privilege Access by granting only the necessary permissions required for the role
  • Handle Internal moves, to ensure seamless role transitions
  • Execute Access review mechanisms to validate the current privilege matrix is up to date
  • Revoke roles for offboarded staff

2. Managing Role Data:

  • Conduct an audit of current roles, permissions, and group memberships to identify inconsistencies or excessive privileges.
  • Standardize access roles to remove redundancies and ensure a more structured role-based access model.
  • Optimize IAM policies by mapping user roles accurately to job functions.

3. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with other chapter leads, product owners, and squad members to align IAM objectives with overall project goals.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including DIGIT management and external teams, to address dependencies and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and communication between business, management and technical teams in the area of IAM.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (min 7 years) in Cybersecurity, with a focus on IAM.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies and their application in architecture design and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Requirements:

  • EU citizenship.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
  • Experience in a public administration or similarly complex environment is desirable.
