Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal groups to meet their monitoring requirements

• Instrument monitoring for server and application inventory.

• Configure and customize dashboards in New Relic, utilizing NRQL query language

• Configure and customize alerting conditions in New Relic, utilizing NRQL query language

• Support and resolve Incidents and requests for monitoring and observability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to system performance and availability.

• Instrument monitoring for various technologies, including VMware and database systems (e.g., Oracle and MSSQL).

• Ensures that all related documentation is current and accurate

• Adhere to corporate change management policies.

• Assist in keeping Infrastructure and Application Performance Monitoring agents up to date

• Assist in analyzing and addressing vulnerabilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks.

• Identify and assist in automating routine tasks.

• Participate in team meetings.

• Contribute to the creation and adherence to standards.

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft IT Certifications, CISSP, TOGAF, Azure Solution Architect, CCNA) are a plus.

Skills and Knowledge:

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or related field.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., New Relic, SolarWinds, Zabbix).

• Strong experience with Windows and Unix-based systems.

• Proficiency in SQL and NRQL for dashboards and alerts.

• Understanding of network protocols, databases, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).

• Scripting skills in Shell, PowerShell, .NET, Java, Python.

• Familiarity with Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub Actions.

• Experience with ServiceNow incident, problem, and change management.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes (change management, event management, incident management, etc.).

Salary: 4,511 - 6,444 eur gross
