This position is an onsite role in Tewksbury MA.

What You Will Do: 
Define security requirements and design solutions, providing guidance and direction related to security technologies. Perform analysis on security collected data and test results. Identify and implement security design and preparing and maintain engineering and security related documentation. Define and develop cybersecurity requirements, design, and architecture artifacts, strategy, plans, and policies. Perform and/or provide guidance and oversight on vulnerability assessments, defining, negotiating, and executing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events. Collaborate with program and engineering disciplines and ensure cybersecurity solution alternatives. Conduct cybersecurity audits to ensure appropriate implementation and compliance of the security posture. Define security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components. Conduct technical and nontechnical trade studies, analysis, reviews identify

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2025.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer: 
•    3.0 cumulative GPA
•    Experience using Visual Studio or other IDE
•    Demonstrated ability to solve complex software issues
•    Quick learner and motivated
•    Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
