Senior Systems Administrator

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As a System Administrator you will be an integral part in developing hardware and software solutions for proprietary programs for our client. We translate customer needs into detailed requirements for system integrated designs including system architectures for current operations and program growth, facility design, hardware selection, software selection and development, system integration, testing and, operations and maintenance. Position responsibilities will include:

  • Oversees system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture
  • Provides complex problem resolution, root cause analysis and technical support for delivery systems
  • Participates in the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems
  • Plans and coordinates system changes
  • Administer services and applications within Office 365/Azure
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple corporate applications/programs, Corporate IT hardware, network devices and Linux Development networks
  • Assist in training/educating users on modern technologies and best practices
  • **Additional IT related tasks and responsibilities that will arise in the future**

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:  

Required Education and Years of Experience: 

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in a technical field;
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership;
  • 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting complex network problems

Required Qualifications: ​

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
  • Experience as a system administrator of Linux or Windows platforms
  • Experience supporting Atlassian products
  • Strong technical writing and a desire to implement (and create) policy and procedure

Desired Qualifications: ​

  • Certifications desired: CISSP, Security+, Office 365/Azure, AWS, 
  • Experience with RedHat Linux
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows server

Telework/Remote Availability:  Hybrid work authorized (minimum 4 days onsite)

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$100,000 - $137,000
