The Role

Cyber security governance: You will support the CISO in the security office to run our ISMS and ISO 27001 certification.

Your Responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will manage certain aspects of our Information Security Management System, namely:

• You will work on core security processes like risk management, risk treatment, internal audit and resolution of findings.
• You will contribute to the awareness campaign and support our supplier management by assessing potential suppliers.
• You will help maintain the governance and policy framework.
• Occasionally, you will lend your expertise to the business by responding to security questionnaires and other forms of internal consulting.
• You will take the lead in one or two of the above-mentioned subjects.

Since we are a small team, you are also expected to support security operations topics. Communication and collaboration is a key aspect of your role. You will work closely with our IT department and other internal service functions.

What is important to us

• You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Security. You worked in security governance or operations. You have a solid understanding of management systems, such as ISO 27001.
• You have knowledge concerning modern IT in general, including networking, identity and access management, cloud, virtualization, and endpoint security. You have good knowledge regarding the threats to these IT assets, including the Mitre ATT&CK framework.
• You are a communicator and don’t mind spending a sizeable amount of time in meetings, thereby driving security improvements throughout the organization. You have solid writing skills and can produce text that is to the point.
• You have a university degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Cyber Security or a comparable education.
• You are experienced working in an enterprise setting, you understand processes and the importance of quality and documentation.
• You are a team player. You come to expect high standards of autonomy and quality in your work.
• You have very good English language skills and are ready to work in international teams.
