JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join Commvault and shape the future of Cyber Resilience. As part of our team, you'll have a pivotal role collaborating with industry leaders and internal stakeholders to drive product, partnership, and go-to-market strategies.

You’ll work closely with customers, thought leaders and influencers in our space, along with our own product, partner, customer success and GTM teams, to gather and analyse insights that inform Commvault’s product, partner, and GTM strategy for our platform and integrations.

You’ll have a pulse on what is happening across our industry, understanding trends and threat vectors that will allow us to build solutions serving our customers.

You’ll also engage with our market-facing teams as a spokesperson and cyber resilience evangelist, sharing a point-of-view on shifts in the market, technology landscapes, and organization maturity models. You should be able to captivate your audience with engaging and dynamic presentation and workshopping skills.

In essence, this role requires a stellar candidate that can talk the talk (captivate our target audience with passion) and then walk the walk (exude credible experience and technical know-how).

Travel is an essential part of the role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a Cyber Resilience evangelist, representing our company's solutions to potential clients, stakeholders, and at industry events.
• Assess and explain complex cybersecurity risks to clients, highlighting how our software solutions can address their security needs.
• Conduct presentation and workshops that evangelise cyber resilience concepts and influence strategic IT decision making.
• Support the sales process with your cybersecurity expertise, provide reference architectures, technical designs and demonstrations, answer technical inquiries, and provide insight to those responsible for crafting proposals that meet customer needs.
• Stay well-informed of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and governing changes, ensuring our offerings remain relevant, compliant, and competitive.
• Interface with CISOs, SecOps staff an Architects and confidently position the value of Commvault cyber resiliency solutions for Threat Detection, Anomaly Detection, Cleanroom, Deception and Active Directory Protection.
• Consult with customers on cyber resiliency best practices and help them build reliable and repeatable recovery plans.
• Actively engage in internal collaboration with leadership, sales, and development teams, fostering an enhanced understanding of the dynamic landscape of cybersecurity needs and direction, while providing user feedback, market trends, and insights to shape product improvements and the development of new features.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in a technology-focused role with emphasis on cybersecurity or a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
• Expert presenter and workshop facilitator with above average communications skills.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT risk management, and the regulatory landscape.
• Strong understanding of Threat Detection, Anomaly Detection and Cyber Deception techniques.
• 5+ years of experience in the field working with enterprise customers to define and implement security solutions.
• The ability to convey complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
• Proven experience in promoting and demonstrating technology products.
• Robust problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a customer-centric approach.
• Fluent French language skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Proficient and with experience of talking to press and analysts
• Have “lived the breach” or have investigated cyber breaches in the real world.
• CISSP, CISM, or similar certification.
• Experience in Commvault or another backup technology.
• Previous experience in a similar role or a similar deep technical experience involving technical sales support.
• Knowledge of cloud architectures and database systems and their cybersecurity implications.
• Experience in navigating complex enterprise environments and liaising with various stakeholders.
