Sr. Associate I, Product Development, Security & Operations (DevSecOps)

Summary of Position:

IT Systems Software Analysis & Programming focuses on programming & configuration of IT Systems Software (i.e. software for use in operating/controlling hardware and providing a platform for running internal end user/business applications). The work includes: •Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System •Developing programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts •Writing code in lower-level programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization’s IT platform/infrastructure •Configuring, customizing, diagnosing, and enhancing vendor systems software (e.g., operating systems software and utilities that manage access to peripherals, facilitate networking, manage memory allocation, manage file storage on hard drives, etc.) •Writing diagnostic programs to test integrated software/hardware systems and resolve system faults •Creating functional and technical documentation of systems software programs and code

As a Salesforce QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in validating Salesforce development stories against business requirements and known practices. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that new features and changes meet the required standards and do not adversely affect existing functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure features meet business requirements and work as expected.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective testing strategies.
• Validate that new features and changes do not break existing functionality and maintain system integrity.
• Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and effectiveness.
• Automate test scripts using tools and frameworks as appropriate to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, including identifying potential risks and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and methodologies related to quality assurance and Salesforce development.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Salesforce development and quality assurance roles, with a strong understanding of Salesforce applications and functionality.
• Experience with Salesforce testing tools such as qTest
• Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with Salesforce development environments, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Experience in automating test cases and working with test automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience.
