Project Engineer - Security systems

What you will do

The Project Engineer is a key role directly reporting to Senior Project Manager for Middle East region. You will be based in Abu Dhabi and will be a part of a growing team and be responsible for driving the growth of business for Building Management Systems.

You will be supporting the project management team on designing and execution of projects. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the pre-sales/estimation.

How you will do it

As an Project Engineer you will be the contact point for the project management, configuration, Integration, testing, commissioning, maintenance, validation, allocation & uncertainty calculation, engineering support, troubleshooting etc. for our BMS Systems. 

As an experienced Project Engineer for BMS systems you will ensure continuous and sustainable growth of our Installation base by building a relationship of credibility and trust with the customer. You will be responsible to manage the equipment hardware and software trouble-shooting and fault clearance of systems. You will be determining priorities of tasks and actions and schedules measures accordingly and preform the BMS programming to control the HVAC, VFD, FCU & VAV etc.. through DDC/unitary controllers. 

You will use your experience to perform the calibration VAV, testing and commissioning of FCU, VAV etc. and also run the Chiller/Chilled Water Pump plant control programming of 3rd party Integration [Modbus / BACnet/Lon works/MSTP/IP/KNX/OPC Protocols]. You will Configure the OT & IT Networking which are relevant for BMS networking and perform BMS Graphics development and server configuration.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelors of Engineering / Diploma preferably in Electronics / Instrumentation & Controls.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in managing Installation projects for BMS systems within GCC region
• Recent or past experience in 3rd party Integration [Modbus / BACnet/Lon works/MSTP/IP/KNX/OPC Protocols]
• Possess team attitude and self-starting work ethics with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive, Independent, and open minded
• Ability and desire to find technically and financially optimal solutions
