Please note that this position is based in San Diego, CA. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average.

Position Summary:

The Cybersecurity Analyst will participate in cybersecurity operational efforts.  This position will assist with monitoring Acadia’s various security tools for alerts.  The Cybersecurity Analyst will also participate in Acadia’s vulnerability management processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Actively monitor security tools employed within the organization for alerts
  • Actively reviews the Information Security ticket queue and resolves or escalates assigned incidents on a timely basis
  • Analyze file samples and web links to identify if they are malicious and determine steps to remediate and mitigate any threats posed
  • Perform vulnerability scans of Acadia systems as assigned
  • Support Security Information Team with projects or initiatives
  • Participate in Acadia’s third-party risk management (TPRM) efforts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field
  • Targeting 1 year of combined Cybersecurity and IT experience working with desktop/laptop technologies, networks, and cloud-based solutions.  An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
  • Basic understanding of security logging, monitoring, and event management applications
  • Knowledge of EDR and vulnerability scanning controls
  • Task-oriented, able to prioritize work or escalate issues to management
  • Exhibit a high-level of attention to detail
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally

Scope:

Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways, exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.  Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.  Work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  Ability to travel independently overnight and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business needs.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location. 

Salary Range$61,000—$76,100 USD
