AWS Cloud Operations Engineer (Security Clearance Required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services, strong DevOps expertise (Jenkins, GitLab, or Kubernetes), and proficiency in scripting with Python, Perl, or BASH. This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability. This is a fully remote position and requires an active Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for cost efficiency.
• Enhance security and compliance by managing IAM roles, policies, and encryption best practices.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS) or other orchestration tools.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Perl, BASH) to automate operational tasks, system monitoring, and cloud resource management.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and troubleshoot production issues.
• Stay up to date with AWS and DevOps trends to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
