YOUR MISSION
As the Head of IT and Site Leader you will be responsible for managing information technology for our Long Beach Location. You will be responsible for all IT infrastructure, software applications and support operations for this site. As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for performance and availability of IT infrastructure and applications while providing operational support and business partnership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the department’s strategic roadmap to drive IT infrastructure and security posture.
- Perform as site leadership representing information technology.
- Ensure resolution and act as the escalation point for all IT activities including help desk support issues following established ITIL processes.
- Actively participate in the identification and assessment of new software solutions, including ERP, MES, and analytics platforms, in close collaboration with the other IT and business leaders.
- Serve as the site's technical representative during solution evaluations, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.
- Proactively monitor network performance (WAN / LAN / WLAN) and escalate issues.
- Lead and manage project teams to resolve systemic recurring issues or enhancement needs.
- Initiate and coordinate outsourced supplier efforts.
- Collaborate with Security, GRC and DevOps teams to ensure compliance with cyber policies, data security, physical infrastructure protection, and respond to cybersecurity threats.
- Be responsible for managing and maintaining all Digital Workspace technology.
- Be responsible for all printers, MFPs, on-site A/V and telecommunications equipment.
- Manage and coordinate the deployment and support of PCs and peripherals.
- Be responsible for asset and inventory management.
- Identify and execute technology obsolescence projects.
- Solution IT issues that are affecting site production & provide on call support as necessary.
- Develop and maintain partnerships across the business to enable success through collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years in IT management, relevant experience.
- 7+ years in a leadership capacity, overseeing a team and mentoring others.
- Recent Space/Defense industry experienced is required.
- Proven experience working with Security/Cybersecurity team and other cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful IT projects; experience with Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and best practices.
- Customer-centric focus with ability to translate technical solutions to business value
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: M3: $147,000-$185,000; M4: $160,000-$210,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

- Work Location—Successful candidates will be located near Long Beach, CA. This will be an onsite role.
