RMC is hiring for a Jr. System Administrator to support our customer at NSWC Indian Head (Stump Neck) EOD Technology Center. The System Administrator will work with a team of highly talented individuals supporting the D15 development environment. Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, assisting in the management of a Windows domain, desktop support, virtual machine builds/deployments, supporting system integration in a Development environment.
- Monitoring server performance and take appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues
- System hardening per DoD standards and generate necessary artifacts
- Virtual Machine Configuration/Administration
- Assist in application and software SIEM Management
- First-tier troubleshooting of computer software and OS configuration issues
- Installation, maintenance, and Removal of specialized software on windows workstations
- Maintenance of software and hardware inventory information assurance compliance Support
- Conduct and report on ACAS and DISA STIG vulnerability scans weekly and monthly for compliance across, Portal, Toughbook images, and other systems.
- Provide SonarQube code assessments to stakeholders to assist in improving code quality for applications.
- Collaborate with Networking team in creating/maintaining documentation/diagrams of computer systems/Network Environments.
- Collaborate with Networking team in researching COTS and open source software products.
- Collaborate with system administrators and ISSM/ISSO to resolve security compliance issues for DoD systems.
- Minor Linux Administration in support of system compliance.
Requirements
- Two to three (2-3) years of systems administration experience in Windows and/or Linux environments is required.
- Must have a DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) or IAT Level 3 Certification (CASP, CISSP, CLSSP).
- Must have Secret Clearance; must be able to attain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $80,000 to $120,000 annually.
