McCormick is hiring a Sr Manager of Threat Detection & Response to join our Cybersecurity Threat Management team. The Sr Manager of Threat Detection & Response, reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity Threat Management, will be responsible for leading our cyber intelligence, threat hunting, security monitoring, and incident response strategies

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, manage, and develop a global 24x7 threat detection and response team
  • Enhance organizational resilience through implementation of threat informed defense best practices
  • Strengthen Incident Preparedness, Response and Recovery processes
  • Optimize global security monitoring efficiency through IT and OT technology deployment, cross functional partnership, and process refinement
  • Partner with security leadership to ensure compliance and adherence to global regulations
  • Develop and retain a best-in-class cybersecurity team
  • Define and develop metrics to measure and socialize maturity and health with senior leadership
  • Provide thought-leadership to enterprise-wide risk reduction initiatives
     

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, related degree, or measurable knowledge from serving in industry/military/government unit.
  • CISM, GIAC, CISSP or other relevant security professional certifications
  • Minimum 10 years’ professional experience working in cybersecurity or information technology
  • Minimum 3 years' experience leading operational cybersecurity teams
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams within a large organization
  • Strong working knowledge of threat actor tradecraft and mitigation approaches
  • Flexibility to work on-call within a 24x7 operational security capability
  • Proven ability to successfully collaborate with business and technology leaders and teams
  • Strong problem-identification and problem-solving ability

Base Salary: $121,900 - $219,410


Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan. In addition to a competitive compensation package, permanent employees of McCormick are eligible for our extensive Total Rewards programs that include:
