Practical Law, a division of Thomson Reuters, is looking for a summer intern who has completed their first or second year at an ABA-accredited law school for Summer 2025 to work with our Data Privacy & Cybersecurity team.
This internship will be hybrid and pay is $20/hr.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Practical Law Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Summer Intern, you will:
Conduct legal research on various issues relating to privacy and data security globally.
Engage in quality assurance with respect to Practical Law content.
Assist editors in writing new content and current awareness.
Summarize changes to primary law.
Provide additional support, as needed.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of a Practical Law Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Summer Intern if you:
Demonstrate strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Demonstrate an ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately.
Have an impressive command of grammar, punctuation, and plain English.
Consistently pay strong attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
Can work independently, consistently meet deadlines, and achieve individual objectives within larger team projects.
Have experience using Westlaw and Microsoft Office products.
Have experience or an interest in data privacy or cybersecurity law.
