Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Sector provides an arena where your passion for innovation and quest for exploration is welcome. As a Principal/Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst - CSSO, your role at the El Segundo, Ca facility will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies

  • Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials

  • security education classes and oversees security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken

  • Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions- PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Investigations and Document Control Management

Principal Industrial Security Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelors Degree; 3 years with a Masters; 1 year with a PhD or and additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen

  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company

  • Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance, within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company

  • Experience with DoD Manual 5205.07 and ICD-705

  • Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions amid ambiguity, and meet deadlines

Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 years of Industrial Security experience with a Bachelors Degree; 6 years with a Masters; 4 year with a PhD or and additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen

  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company

  • Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance, within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company

  • Experience with DoD Manual 5205.07 and ICD-705

  • Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions amid ambiguity, and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance

  • Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as DoD Manuals, and other US Government security manuals.

  • Excellent leadership, writing and organization skills, enabling effective communications with team members, fellow employees and government officials

  • Experience with Supply Chain Security process and procedures

  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight

  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables

  • Hands on, self-starting, disciplined and detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently in a high-volume environment

  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines

The position will be on a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off. Candidate will be a self-starter, self-motivated, proactive, and goal oriented. Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00Salary Range 2: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
