Information Security Analyst

OASYS, INC., a 100% Employee-Owned, Leading-Edge Government contractor, is seeking applicants for an Information Security Analyst to support a Navy customer in Charleston, SC.

Job Responsibilities include: Providing Information Security expertise in support of in the prevention of damage to, protection of, and restoration or computers, electronic communications systems, electronic communications services, wire communication, and electronic communication to ensure data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and nonrepudiation. The successful candidate will be able to design secure systems, write secure computer code, and create the tools needed to prevent, detect, mitigate, and reconstitute information systems. Perform tasks in a variety of areas to include:

• Tracking important milestones or actions for management/team
• Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications
• Knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity policies and procedures
• Interact with clients, government officials, and other executives in the private sector
• Verbal and written communications must be timely and demonstrate the consistent ability to present ideas and communicate information in a clear and concise manner
• Drafting, writing, and editing reports, briefs, correspondence and other documents
• Laisse with key internal and external stakeholders      

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information assurance, programming, or related field
• Must possess certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570.1 Information Assurance Technician III and subject to meeting subsequent requirements of latest DoD 8140 manual
• Ten (10) years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
• Strong written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, strong organizational skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Excellent attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables
• A high-level performer with the ability to be proactive and respond rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills

Required Education: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information assurance, programming, or a related field.

Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
