Key Responsibilities  *

1.    Develop and document reference on Network Security solutions and associated standards to be used as a basis for technology selection and implementation.
2.    Participate in the selection of hardware and software, products, design and participate in the planning for which features get implemented in timely manner.
3.    Participate in annual technology planning to identify where technology investments are needed and where technical architectures need updating.
4.    Participate on application or infrastructure implementation projects to ensure the design conforms to the technical architecture and standards, and modify or extend the technical architecture when it is necessary to accommodate project needs.
5.    Analyse existing Security, Network and Contact Centre structure in order to define, design and achieve simplified, modern, application-focused network architectures.
6.    Leadership role on Network Security, infrastructure projects to design and architect large-scale networks.
7.    To provide High Level solution and proposal to business units related to Security and Network infrastructure 
8.    Ensuring that architecture principles and technology standards are consistently applied and updated as appropriate.
9.    Providing specialized technical guidance on complex problem/incident challenges.
10.    Working closely with other project Engineers/Architect in designing solutions that are relevant based on available skillset and lower the total cost of ownership.
11.    Working with different departments / divisions to analyse the platform impact of change and release management on the existing IT infrastructure.
12.    To ensure network security component updated with the best practice recommended by principle. 
13.    Ensure proactive project and operations support (level 2/3) is continuously maintained according to the approved architecture.  This support includes all networks and communication related subjects for capacity planning, network architecture change request and preventive maintenance.  
14.    Continuously ensuring the efficient integration of the latest technology to ensure enhancement of the current systems meet business and operational needs. 
15.    Lead all IT systems and network provisioning activities and to ensure that all change requests are endorsed before transitioning into operations environment.
16.    Lead in the recommendation and justification of any purchase requisitions in ensuring that all Security and Network service request are planned and implemented efficiently while problem calls are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
17.    Experience in IT environment for Financial Services Industries
18.    Ability to work with minimal supervision.    
 

Job Specification *


Qualifications 
(Basic Degree/Diploma etc)
    •    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology (Computer/Telecommunication/Network) or equivalent
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements     •    Possess ITIL and CCNA/CCNP/CCDP certification will be an advantage
Relevant Work Experience     •    Minimum 5 years of experience in network design, operations and architecture
•    Experience assessing large-company campus, branch office, WAN, and data centre business needs, designing and documenting solutions to meet these needs, and driving external vendors where applicable to deliver against product and software roadmaps
•    Strongly versed across a variety of hardware and software manufacturers, and a high degree of comfort and experience in mixed vendor environments
•    Experience in monitoring, capacity planning and automation.

    Technical/Functional skills
•    Deep understanding of security concepts and putting those concepts into practice in a network environment. Firewall, IDS, DDoS, etc. experience strongly preferred.
•    Expert-level competence in IP routing/switching and security technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, AAA/Radius, IPsec, GRE, and their best-practices, fault-tolerant use at global scale. 
•    Vast knowledge and experience in managing and supporting Data Centre network infrastructure using SDN technology (Software Defined Network) such as Cisco ACI and SDWAN.
•    Fluent with state of network technology and cloud infrastructure.
Strong functional knowledge of TCP/IP required.

•    Have strong leadership qualities and able to give technical direction.
•    Ability to work with all levels of personnel from end users to senior management.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with other senior leaders in the organization. 
•    Good analytical, logical and problem solving skills.
