General Summary:

The Product Security Intern will work closely with Senior members of the Product Security Team to gain hands-on experience in designing and implementing security best practices throughout the system development lifecycle. This internship role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing security expertise, and contributing to the enhancement of security measures for ConnectWise applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to the Security team, with high attention to detail.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of security measures for ConnectWise applications.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Participating in code reviews to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Researching and staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
  • Assisting in the investigation and resolution of security incidents or breaches.
  • Contributing to the development of security awareness training materials for employees.
  • Assisting in the evaluation and selection of security tools and technologies.
  • Supporting the Principal Product Security Engineer in various security-related tasks and projects.

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Requires limited knowledge of operations procedures and tools.

Working Conditions:

  • Professional office environment
  • Up to 10% travel required
