We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Privacy Office Operations Management
The Privacy Manager will manage the daily privacy operations of the Client Operations privacy team, ensuring that all processes and procedures are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the company's privacy goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of privacy regulations. The Privacy Manager will work closely with the legal privacy team, privacy compliance managers and relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead cross-functional projects with operations, risk, and functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of data protection and privacy initiatives

Collaborate with legal and global data privacy teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable process improvements and initiatives.

Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders on privacy risks, governance, and compliance.

Privacy Risk Governance & Compliance

Develop and support a comprehensive framework for monitoring and reporting ongoing compliance with privacy regulations.

Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement, recommend mitigants, and drive enhancements in data privacy and assurance.

Lead the design and execution of the global privacy risk governance program, driving thought leadership on privacy risks relevant to the IT/ITES industry and emerging trends.

Policy & Control Management
-
Identify, define, and implement controls for new data protection control to mitigate the identified privacy risk applicable to business operations.

Support the Privacy Office with periodic updates to policies and procedures to maintain compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes.

Enhance privacy compliance posture by ensuring robust controls, audits, and risk mitigation strategies are in place.

Awareness & Culture Building

Drive a culture of privacy awareness and advocacy by keeping stakeholders informed about regulatory changes, best practices, and emerging risks.

Conduct privacy training, awareness programs, and quality checks to ensure organizational readiness and alignment with privacy standards.

Quality & Reporting

Implement and oversee the privacy quality check program to ensure consistency and compliance in processes and operations

Provide periodic updates and reports on risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
-
Master’s degree in business administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
-
Relevant years of experience in privacy operations, compliance, or a related field.
-
Strong knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Proven project management skills and solid self-starter capabilities.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong networking skills, preferable in a multinational work environment.

Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English.
Preferred qualifications
-
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) or equivalent certification.
-
Experience with OneTrust, Snow or similar privacy tools.
-
Experience with working in a multinational corporation or consultancy firm.

Familiarity with privacy issues in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.

Organizing skills and capacity to manage projects remotely.
