As a Cybersecurity intern at OnLogic, you will be helping to protect our IT infrastructure in a rapidly expanding global industrial PC company. You will use your creative problem solving skills to come up with quick solutions to address everyday end user problems, reduce company downtime and improve its cybersecurity posture. We are looking for an intern to work during the spring semester up to 20 hours per week.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in identifying and documenting security vulnerabilities
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
  • Monitoring security events for suspicious activity and escalate potential incidents
  • Supporting security awareness training programs for employees
  • Participating in security assessments and audits

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior Undergraduate student, currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

  • You have a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, such as networking, Cloud, operating systems, and cybersecurity threats. 
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. 
  • You have demonstrated interest in cybersecurity, potentially through personal projects, coursework, or extracurricular activities.

Benefits

The pay for this internship is $18/hour, with a minimum of 10 hours per week commitment.
