As an IT Security L1 Analyst for Identity and Access Management, you will be responsible for the daily IAM operational activities, including managing tickets, timely Onboarding, Offboarding and Cross boarding of domains and email accounts. You will ensure that IAM service levels are closely monitored and maintained and will conduct scheduled access reviews as required. You possess strong analysis skillsets, attention to detail, and precise documentation skills, with clear communication and ability to prioritize workloads.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all user and system accounts account lifecycle, including provisioning, entitlement changes, deactivation, and deletion in accordance with the established service levels.
  • Work closely with IT, security, and business teams to manage user access, permissions, and IAM-related projects.
  • Manage daily IAM operations by providing support to employees regarding access requests, password resets, and IAM-related issues through ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Perform access and entitlement reviews in accordance with established process and timelines.
  • Manage identity and access management related technologies for account lifecycle management, privileged access management, SSO and multi-factor authentication.
  • Provide support and participate in incident response activities related to access control or unauthorized access.
  • Ensure that IAM practices follow security best practices and support the organization’s overall security posture.
  • Providing reports on access-related metrics to management and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of IAM processes, workflows, and procedures.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of IT Security or related work experience
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of user account lifecycle.
  • Adept at Active Directory, Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain IAM processes, policies, incidents, and best practices to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong sense of ownership and a collaborative approach to working in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while adhering to procedures and guidelines.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and handle time sensitive IAM issues, such as onboarding or offboarding employees.
  • Experience in implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls is preferred.
  • Experience and working knowledge with PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with IAM tools such as CyberArk and DUO.
  • Understanding of RBAC, ABAC, IAM governance models and IT security frameworks such as PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST and SOC.
