The Opportunity:
Join a leading organization as the Deputy Chief of Cybersecurity, directly reporting to the Chief of Cyber Operations. This pivotal role allows you to leverage your extensive experience in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) to achieve both strategic and tactical goals. You'll oversee day-to-day operations of all teams under the Cyber Front Office, driving process improvements and personnel development to enhance mission effectiveness and efficiency. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape cybersecurity strategy at the highest levels, work with cutting-edge technologies, and make a significant impact on national security operations.

Responsibilities:
• Execute and optimize the DCO mission, with a focus on resource management and priority setting

• Lead the maturation of processes and personnel development through subordinate supervisory staff

• Collaborate with the Chief of TCS Cyber to design, implement, and sustain cybersecurity services for NGA Programs, Systems, and Enterprise

• Provide strategic input on addressing capability gaps within the environment

• Monitor and improve staff performance and morale across the Cybersecurity Division

• Contribute to personnel staffing strategies and provide guidance to lower-level staff

• Research and evaluate new concepts, processes, and technologies to enhance Cyber Operations efficiency

• Deliver executive-level briefings and recommendations on Future Operations

Qualifications:

Required: 
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph

• 10+ years of leadership experience in functional management or team lead roles

• Extensive knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity systems and network/web architecture

• DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Officer (IAT) Level III certification

• DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M CSSP Manager certification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security Engineering, or IT-related field, plus 8 years of cybersecurity experience (Additional experience may substitute for degree)

• Proficiency in Security Operations Capability Maturity Models (SOC-CMM, C2M2, or equivalents)

• Strong understanding of ODNI ICS 500-27, NSM-8, OMB M21-31, and DoD cybersecurity compliance policies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

• 6+ years of experience supporting IC or DoD agency in cloud system/service adoption and transition • Advanced degree in a relevant field • Experience with DoD Acquisition processes and budgeting

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
