Job Summary:
Our Cyber team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Intern to support our classified computing environment in Marlborough, Massachusetts. As an intern, you will work closely with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure compliance with NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, and JSIG policies, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in cybersecurity and information systems security.
This role is available onsite at one of our Massachusetts facilities: Andover, Marlborough, Tewksbury or Woburn.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Assist in ensuring system compliance and auditing within a classified environment.
- Support the development of security plans and assist in delivering security awareness and education programs.
- Help investigate information system security violations and contribute to creating reports for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives.
- Participate in security sustainment activities including hardware/software change management and account management.
- Participate in organization project during internship.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Must be at least a sophomore by the start of summer 2025 pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or Math.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
- 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)
Location:
- Massachusetts: Andover, Marlborough, Tewksbury or Woburn.
- Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Clearance Information:
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
