Cyber Technical Advisor, Senior

Key Role:

Act as a trusted advisor and technical leader for cyber development, methodology, and relationship manager. Apply technical and analytical expertise to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of discovering patterns and previously hidden insights, which in turn can provide a competitive advantage or address a pressing mission problem. Exhibit expertise in operations research, computer science, and the emerging methodologies and technologies to design and implement Cyber programs. Maintain responsibility for planning and managing company resources to execute development project or project components from the design phase through implementation. Identify and communicate project scope and ensure program milestones and objectives are met. Keep management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected delivery results.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity in large organizations

• 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing security capabilities

• Experience with cybersecurity in the Veterans Administration

• Experience with VA cyber operations

• Ability to distill and articulate complex messages in written and oral forms for technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to build functional teams and lead new capability development based on mission requirements and client needs

• Ability to distill mission requirements from client interactions, driving vision and strategy tactfully with the government client for machine learning and analytic solutions

• Public Trust

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with managing remote and onsite staff

• Ability to be results-oriented, self-motivated, organized, disciplined, and energetic

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
