Job Description
As an Internal Audit Senior Manager (Technology and Cyber), you will lead complex audits, ensure adherence to standards, and provide strategic insights. You will own audit portfolios, deputise for the Audit Director, and develop audit strategies aligned with Shawbrook's goals. Your deep understanding of modern banking, exceptional communication skills, and dedication to fostering team growth are crucial. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of our organisation through your expertise and leadership. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to 3 days a week in our London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop audit strategies for Cyber Security and IT risk, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Prepare risk assessments to inform the risk-based assurance plan, audit strategies, and audit universe.
- Align audit work with UK regulatory requirements in relation to Technology and Cyber risks.
- Manage and deliver a portfolio of high-quality assurance reviews across Cyber Security, IT risk, IT governance, and Operational Resilience reviews.
Qualifications
- CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC certification is essential.
- Proven experience in leading Cyber Security, IT Risk, IT Governance and Operational Resilience audits. Banking and Financial Services industry experience would be preferred, but is not essential.
- Able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, security frameworks, and incident response.
- Able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills.
