Ediscovery Lead Analyst

Overview
The Security Event Management team is looking for an accomplished eDiscovery team lead to oversee our global eDiscovery operations and modernize our technology and processes. As a key member of our organization, you will lead the team responsible for end-to-end eDiscovery services, evidence intake, and supporting processes. We seek a candidate with deep eDiscovery knowledge, technical expertise, and a strong vision to drive continuous improvement in large, global enterprise.

Role
In this position, you will:
• Oversee the entire eDiscovery lifecycle (legal holds, collections, review, production) and day-to-day operations.
• Implement, enhance, and optimize eDiscovery tools and platforms (e.g., Relativity, Microsoft eDiscovery Premium, EDRM platforms, cloud based archives, and more).
• Fulfill and track open matters from stakeholders in legal, compliance, and HR to implement legal holds and perform data collections.
• Coordinate with Security Operations teams and stakeholders (SOC, Insider Threat, DFIR) to manage evidence intake and preservation related to incidents.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Drive process improvements, leverage APIs for data preservation, and integrate emerging industry trends.
• Lead a global eDiscovery team, providing guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support when needed.

All About You
1. Proven experience in eDiscovery within a large, regulated, global enterprise.
2. Deep familiarity with industry-standard frameworks (EDRM) and relevant global regulations (SEC, FINRA, GDPR).
3. Technical proficiency with buildout/configuration of eDiscovery platforms, understanding how to leverage APIs and automation to improve process efficiency, and cutting edge technical concepts such as AI assisted review.
4. Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving modernization and innovation efforts.
5. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Legal Studies, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
