DESCRIPTION:

Aetion is looking for a highly motivated Program Manager for our Compliance and Risk Management Area.  This is a new role at Aetion that will be responsible for developing a compliance strategy, policy and procedure creation and overseeing the implementation of these.   The role will sit in our Tech Ops organization but will require collaborating with external auditors during  audit processes, our legal team and engineering.  In addition, the PM will work collaboratively across the organization and with Aetion leadership to ensure these programs are successful in maintaining high standards of compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The following duties include, but are not limited to...

  • Assessing risk:  Through collaboration with our InfoSec team Identify potential security risks related to customer data storage and processing within the organization's systems. 
  • Develop and Implement compliance strategy:  Create and execute a strategic plan to enhance and continuously improve Aetion’s compliance and program in collaboration with Tech, Legal & Regulatory and other stakeholders.
  • Policy and procedure creation:  Working with our tech writers and the appropriate SMEs to create and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures aligned with  requirements. 
  • Employee training:  Support all departments in day-to-day implementation and adherence to the compliance and quality management programs
  • Reporting to management: Providing updates on compliance status and any identified risks to senior leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in a healthcare or other data compliance role.
  • At least 2+ years spent in a Project Management or leadership role in this area.
  • Significant experience and skill with compliance functions: writing policies and guidance documents; supporting various business activities; managing internal and external audits; conducting internal risk assessments; developing recommendations for addressing identified risk
  • Hybrid work model in Aetion’s BCN office and willing to travel as necessary for audits, important meetings, etc.

Preferred

  • Experience with PolicyTech or other document management system and knowledge/experience using AI tools
  • Experience working in the healthcare information technology industry, including regulatory engagement
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization
  • Equally adept at working independently and collaborating with others; self-motivation and willingness to take on responsibility and drive results 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and comfort with ambiguity
