Position: Cybersecurity Consultant (Hybrid in Lisbon - 1 day at the office)

We're a dynamic and dedicated team, fueled by passion, innovation, and (occasionally) a little too much caffeine. If you're a cybersecurity expert with a strong grasp of security operations, threat management, and vulnerability assessment, we'd love to have you on board!

Bring your skills in monitoring systems, identifying security threats, and implementing robust protection measureswe'll provide the caffeine and a supportive environment to thrive in!

What You'll Be Doing (in the most epic way possible):

• Oversee security operations, including vulnerability management and incident response;
• Utilize analytical skills to assess security risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively;
• Monitor, analyze, and consolidate security logs (preferably ELK) to detect potential threats;
• Implement and maintain security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Active Directory, and certificate management;
• Understand networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, etc.) and apply security best practices;
• Secure and manage operating systems (Windows, Linux) and enforce data protection strategies;
• Conduct penetration testing and ethical hacking assessments to identify vulnerabilities;
• Strengthen cloud security and IT infrastructure defenses;
• Apply knowledge of security frameworks and compliance regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, and GDPR;
• Possess relevant cybersecurity and networking certifications (preferred).

What you bring to the table:

• More than 4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity;
• Expertise in continuous security monitoring and proactive incident response;
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain advanced security measures to protect critical assets;
• Skilled in analyzing security events and generating risk reports;
• Proficiency in implementing and managing security tools while ensuring compliance and best practices;
• Strong collaboration skills to integrate security strategies across departments;
• Capability to identify vulnerabilities and apply risk management methodologies;
• Commitment to staying ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats and industry advancements;
