IAM Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IAM Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management (IAM) solutions, ensuring secure access to cloud and on-premises systems. The IAM Engineer will work closely with security, development, and infrastructure teams to enforce security best practices and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS IAM policies, roles, and permissions.

• Maintain and optimize AWS SFTP/Transfer Family configurations for secure data transfer.

• Administer and support LDAP services for authentication and authorization.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline IAM processes.

• Collaborate with security teams to enforce access control policies and compliance standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues in a timely manner.

• Stay up to date with the latest IAM trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM and access control mechanisms.

• Hands-on experience with AWS SFTP/Transfer Family.

• Proficiency in LDAP configuration and administration.

• Experience in Python scripting for automation and integration tasks.

• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Role-specific Requirements:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred.

• Experience with identity federation, SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect is a plus.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools is beneficial.
