Are you ready to take your underwriting career to new heights? We are currently seeking a Senior Cyber & Technology Underwriter to join our dynamic team in Milan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Partnership: Collaborate closely with clients and brokers to identify, design, and develop tailored insurance solutions that address their unique risk profiles and business requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of risks, coverages, terms, and conditions for potential insurance placements. Accurately translate assessments into comprehensive insurance offers that align with client needs.
  • Business Development: Drive the acquisition of new business opportunities while maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients to ensure high retention rates.
  • Strategic Communication: Articulate and communicate the local business strategy to stakeholders, reinforcing our commitment to providing exceptional service and support in the cyber and technology insurance space.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that impact cyber and technology risks, leveraging this knowledge to enhance underwriting practices and service delivery.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Underwriter, Broker, or in a relevant capacity within the insurance sector, with a focus on cyber or technology risks being advantageous.
  • A degree in Engineering (IT-focused) or Economics is required. Advanced certifications in risk management or underwriting will be considered a plus.
  • A strong understanding of new technologies and their implications on cyber and technology risk solutions is essential. Experience with data analysis and cyber risk assessment tools is a valuable asset.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent listening, speaking, and writing capabilities.
