Binary Defense is seeking a Product Manager (Cybersecurity Platforms) to join its team.
The Product Manager will play a key role in defining and executing strategy while managing incrementally delivering of the roadmap – you must be able to work in the details and step back to see the big picture. The successful candidate will focus on a premium customer experience while working with Security Operations, Technical Account Managers, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to bring prioritized features to our products and services.
The Product Manager will collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to understand our customers’ pain points and needs, as well as enable our teams to communicate how our products and services address these needs.
By delivering on product goals, realizing product vision, and ensuring the delivery of continuous value to users, the Product Manager will help our company make the world a safer place for our customers and our partners around the globe who count on Binary Defense every minute of every day.
Responsibilities
- Set and maintain the Product Vision, Strategy and Roadmap for Binary Defense products and services.
- Work alongside the Engineering team daily to ensure priorities are organized in the backlog, are well understood, and delivered based on commitments.
- Gather and manage requirements considering market trends and customer needs.
- Triage and establish priority on new requests while keeping stakeholders informed.
- Contribute to a high performing, innovative and impactful product team.
- Collaborate daily with Engineering to achieve desired outcomes.
- Assess competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to define, support, and play a role in executing go-to-market plans and launch activities.
- Track, refine, and communicate progress against established business goals and priorities.
- Define, develop, and maintain appropriate metrics and success criteria to measure post-launch performance and delivered outcomes. join our team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or similar.
- At least 3 years in a Product Manager role with responsibility for Software (internal technology or customer facing).
- Demonstrated success in articulating and executing a Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmap.
- Previous experience with various security platforms (SIEMs, EDRs, SOARs, etc.) and/or strong aptitude for the cybersecurity field.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions with an outcome-based, customer-first mindset.
- Experience managing vendors and integrating 3rd party security platforms.
- Pragmatic understanding of what modern Agile principles accomplish and how and why they work.
- Demonstrated success working in a remote environment with distributed teams.
- Candidate must be able to obtain legal employment in the US. No visa sponsorship.

- Proactive, self-starter with excellent time and project management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Sharp analytical, innovative, and pragmatic problem-solving skills. Able to make continuous forward progress through sometimes competing priorities.
- Easily manage lots of stakeholders by building relationships, demonstrating expertise, and being highly communicative
- Ability to anticipate, verbalize, and resolve nuanced conflicts in logic, timing, risk, and scope and able to envision multiple solutions to problems.
- Brings a strong toolbox of knowledge, past experiences, and resourcefulness to the table.
