About The Role

The Security & Compliance products team envisions a world where a few Security focused administrators can manage thousands of employees and meet security, compliance, and employee experience requirements to scale their company infinitely. We aim to enable admins to efficiently maintain company compliance while also ensuring a delightful employee experience.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build and scale a suite of governance, risk, and compliance services
• Lead mission-critical projects and deliver platform capabilities end-to-end with high quality
• Mentor and coach team members to enable engineering excellence within the team, and ensure the team outputs high-quality, well-tested code
• Collaborate with partners and customers in different business domains, who will help provide feedback for your product space
• Provide technical leadership and ownership over multiple product spaces
• Influence architecture, technology selections, and trends of the whole company

Qualifications:

• A minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in technical lead or architect roles
• Experience building highly available, highly scalable platforms that power multiple products
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing them
• Passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact
• Excellent ability to communicate complex technical ideas with clarity and precision in written and verbal modes
• Passionate about mentoring and upleveling team members
• Preferred experience (but not required) in our technology stack - Python, Django, React, MongoDB, AWS, PostgreSQL
• Bonus if you have domain knowledge in governance, risk and compliance
