Mid Level Information Systems Analyst

Job Description

NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire an Information Systems Analyst to support a Federal Agency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in information systems, security, cloud computing, and virtualization.

This role is located 100% onsite in Falls Church, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 desktop support, resolve escalated tickets, adhere to agency documentation, utilize the Government ITSM tool, and provide deskside assistance for software, hardware, network, and account issues.
• Manage and provision user access accounts, security groups, and entitlements, handle active directory (AD) OUs and group policy objects (GPOs), and resolve service requests in a timely manner.
• Manage emergency incidents, including service outages and security issues, while monitoring support queues for quick resolution.
• Provide deskside support for unresolved IT issues, escalate change requests, and follow governance processes using the approved change management tool.
• Support configuration management using agency asset systems, maintain traceability of configurable items, and follow agency’s change control processes.
• Identify, manage, and remediate root causes of IT incidents, engaging Site Leads and executing change management as needed.
• Maintain workstation/laptop baselines, provide on-site IT support, perform troubleshooting, integration, installation, and ensure compliance with agency IT standards.
• Operate on-site Walk-In Customer Assistance Tech Bench at agency managing service support, communications, and workstation configurations.
• Provide equipment repair, coordinate vendor support, and assist with system or office moves, ensuring timely execution of end-user requests.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Experience: Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
• Active Secret Clearance investigation required.
• Ability to work 100% onsite at the designated client location.
• IAT II Certification as per DoD 8570.01-M guidelines, (CompTIA Security+ CE, Cisco CCNA Security, GIAC GSEC)
• CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certificate

Example of Technical Certifications in one or more of the following areas:

• Microsoft MCSA/MCSE (Windows Server 2016 or Azure)
